Red Sky Ranch Therapeutic Barn is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building animal-assisted therapy for youth ages 4–18 and veterans — a quiet space where connection with a gentle animal opens the door traditional therapy sometimes can't.
Through the unconditional love of our micro mini cows, and the tranquility of our barn, we provide a unique space where traditional therapy meets the warmth of nature.
Children and youth ages 4–18, and veterans of any age, in and around Weld County, Colorado.
We're starting with micro mini cows — gentle, approachable animals — and plan to grow our roster over time as we learn what our clients need.
A working barn and ranch property in Hudson, Colorado, being built into a calm, safe therapeutic space one step at a time.
Animals don't ask questions. They don't need the right words. For a lot of kids — and a lot of veterans — that quiet, judgment-free connection is where real progress can begin, alongside the guidance of a licensed therapist.
See How Our Program Will Work
We're raising a modest, itemized startup budget to bring our first animals home and open our barn safely. A gift of any size — or simply sharing our story — moves that day closer.
